What a refreshing show. The writing is fantastic and the actors are spot on for their roles. Jennifer Jason Leigh is the overprotective mom every mother identifies with but never wants to be like - she captures the experience of simultaneously holding on and trying to let go of one's kids just perfectly. The cast are all great, but the writers are so amazing that they are truly atypical.
