Safe Superintelligence (SSI), the AI startup led by OpenAI's co-founder and former chief scientist Ilya Sutskever, has raised an additional $2 billion in funding at a $32 billion valuation, according to the Financial Times. Sutskever left OpenAI in May 2024 after he appeared to play a role in an ultimately failed attempt to oust CEO Sam Altman. He founded SSI with Daniel Gross and Daniel Levy, and they said the company had 'one goal and one product: a safe superintelligence.' learn more
