This person will work across all areas of the company to bring to life our vision of delivering delicious home cooking from the best home cooks you’ve never heard of.. Expertise with web development — especially using Javascript, HTML and CSS — is required. Candidates should submit a portfolio demonstrating strong mobile and desktop work, a solid understanding of design layout, typography, and a smart UX sensibility. Candidates will be expected to be learn quickly, work collaboratively, and generate creative ideas frequently. Experience with Javascript frameworks such as jQuery, Underscore, Backbone, Require, Angular and React, and the ability to learn new frameworks ● Strong visual & interactive design skills – a clear grasp of typography, layout, color, motion, and behavior ● Basic knowledge of Git is a must ● Experience working with server­side languages, such as Python, Java, or Go, is a plus ● Empathy and strong ability to communicate Nobody is perfect but if they were they would have all this too... ● 3+ years of experience in software development ● A brilliant composer of meticulously­crafted code for the web ● Experience in constructing and debugging complex systems in collaboration with a team ● Perfectionist with uncanny attention to detail ● Self­aware and eager to learn ● Love of food (especially ice­cream!)
